While living in Silver Spring, Jennifer and Jimmy cared for our 10 y/o chihuahua mix very reliably. Often times, Jimmy would have to find him from under some covers and gently coax him out for a mid day walk. There were days when I was home and Jimmy came by and my dog was always happy to see him; he is a very kind and gentle man and I completely trusted him with our fur babies. We also have 2 cats and when we went out of town, he came by to feed and care for our cats. I loved the online system Jennifer has in place to book walks and schedule upcoming trips; it was very user friendly and intuitive. She also goes above and beyond by putting out very informative monthly newsletters and other sweet surprises throughout the year. Now that we are living on the other side of the country, we miss their service and trustworthiness tremendously… I’d highly recommend Run and Play for anyone who wants to feel their pet(s) is(are) well cared for and safe.

When I first moved back to the DC area few years ago, I tried multiple dog walkers and had some nightmarish experiences. Then I found Jennifer. She is absolutely wonderful! She is kind, conscientious, intuitive, an excellent communicator, and exactly the kind of person you’d want taking care of your pup. Jennifer hires awesome employees as well, and over our four or so years with her, Pippa was walked by them, and even boarded with Jai Hui. Jennifer takes her business seriously, and always takes time to vet these people, get them situated with your pup and is great about introducing them to you as well. Handing over your house keys and your pup to someone can be difficult, but I always felt extremely confident and comfortable with Jennifer and her employees. I knew Pippa was in excellent hands. I was heartbroken to move out of the area, and therefore out of Run and Play’s range. I honestly thought twice about moving, knowing I would lose Run and Play! It’s taken a long time to find a new walker that I’m comfortable with, which has made me appreciate Jennifer even more! She is phenomenal.

I adore Jennifer. She helped me cure a couple of major behavior problems with my dog Chauncey and because of her work with Knine Rescue I was able to get my second dog Shemper. He is a puppy mill rescue and she has worked with me to deal with his extreme anxiety and fear and make my two dogs a successful couple. She and her staff take my dogs out for walks twice daily while I’m at work and they have been amazing with them. They come back happy and tired. I am thrilled to work with Jennifer and would recommend her to anyone interested in a dog walker.
