It’s getting late in the game, but, as of this writing, we have a single opening for an overnight stay for a dog during the upcoming Memorial Day holiday. Whether you want one night or three nights, we can host your dog in our home, where he/she will stay with our family, which includes our two dogs.
Your dog won’t be in a cage or in a kennel, but on the couch with their new, built-in pack.
Compatibility testing will be required, of course, but our dogs are used to visitors.
And since we’re a new business, we also have a couple of openings for dog walking/visits if you want to leave your dog in your own house while you’re away, and just have us come and let him or her out a few times a day for some exercise and affection.
Call us now if you want to reserve this spot – 240-882-6411
Susan and I recently wanted to attend the Maryland Terps Super Regional baseball game in Charlottesville, VA. We had not left our 7-year-old Doberman, Lily Rose, alone with a dogsitter in this area since we got her. But knowing Jennifer and her two dogs, Antigone and Jimmy, and how well Lily Rose got along with them at the park over the last several years, we were confident that she would do well for this day-long trip.
The good news was that our Terps won a great away game against a very strong opponent. The less good news was that Lily Rose was upset that we left her in a completely new situation. But our confidence was rewarded by the Moores’ patience, skills, and loving nature. Lily Rose took to them after a little while, accepting her “fate,” and learned to like her new surroundings. The Moores’ home is neat, dog-friendly, and great for the dogs’ play time and napping.
We heartily recommend Run&Play for dogwalking, dogsitting, and overnight visits. Jennifer and Brendan love dogs and truly know how to take the very best care of your pet/family member. We look forward to sharing Lily Rose with them again (and I know she will enjoy her time with Antigone, Jimmy, and the dog beds).
(sorry about english) I met the man i thought his name was Brando/Branden? connected this service in Sligo Creek trail and he gave me his card talking for a time. My boxer/lab like him so much that day. I willd use them just for that, my dog likes other dogs, but not other peoples much.
